While this helps with branding it also means that recipients cannot reply to the message as its not a number. In order for users to opt out of a message using a custom sender ID we generally recommend using our opt out link which allows recipients the ability to opt out by tapping a link in the message rather than the usual reply STOP. Custom Sender ID's are only available for some countries Please check the Global Sender ID Information table to find out if an alphanumeric sender is supported for your destination country. Registering a Custom Sender ID Important ACMA update: To better protect consumers the ACMA will introduce a new Alphanumeric Sender ID register for businesses sending to Australia. From 1 July 2026 unregistered traffic will be over-stamped with "Unverified" or may be blocked entirely. To request access to use a business name as the Sender ID: Log in to your account Navigate to the Senders page and click Add Sender. Click Alphanumeric. Complete Registration Form A new tab will open to the Sender ID Registration form. You will need to complete and submit this simple form to request access to use the Alphanumeric Sender ID. You will receive an email confirmation once your Sender ID Registration has been approved and available for use within your account. Custom Sender ID Approval Time Depending on country of registration approval times can vary. You will be provided with a timeline for approval once you have submitted your application.
