New Features

WhatsApp Sandbox

A new section is available under Channels → WhatsApp Sandbox.

You can use a WhatsApp QR code or random passphrase to connect to our Sandbox. Once connected, you can send sample WhatsApp messages. This let's you test and learn WhatsApp capabilities in a live environment, without needing to set-up a Meta Business Portfolio and a WhatsApp Business Account.

Enhancements

Custom Domain Track Links

Track link landing pages now display custom domains when configured, providing a more branded experience for customers. The landing page title, header, and body text will show the customer's custom domain instead of the generic tapth.at domain.

Webhook Delivery Performance

We've made major improvements to our webhook delivery system, including enhanced logging for trigger time, endpoint, and processing duration. These improvements address previous delays and improve reliability for integrations.

Fixes

• Fixed an issue causing custom field personalisation that would result in placeholders like [START TIME] and [END TIME] appearing unreplaced in sent messages.
• Fixed an issue where segmented campaigns would dispatch immediately, instead of respecting the configured stagger intervals.
• Corrected the calculation of campaign recipients for multi-part SMS messages, which was causing those campaigns to fail.
• Fixed an issue with campaigns not retrying on some errors, preventing message loss.
• Resolved an issue with Test SMS getting stuck in "Preparing to send" status for extended periods.
• Fixed scheduled time not updating when converting draft campaigns to "Send Now" campaigns.
• Improved the reliability of campaign processing by ensuring messages are properly acknowledged.
• Corrected SMS character count calculation for [unsub-reply-link] placeholder to accurately reflect the 25-character opt-out link length
• Fixed New Zealand shortcode opt-out instructions to default to unsub link instead of reply keywords, preventing issues with carriers blocking messages.
• Fixed an issue preventing users from downloading large Touchpoint CSV reports via the UI/API.
• Updated the ‘From’ address for campaign verification emails to reply@transmitsms.com, to avoid them landing in spam
