InformationTitleSingapore Sender ID Registration RequirementsURL NameSingapore-Sender-ID-Registration-RequirementsAnswerIn an effort to clamp down on scams and protect consumers from text message scams using spoofed Sender IDs, the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore ("IMDA") requires that all organisations register their Alphanumeric and Singapore virtual mobile number Sender IDs with the Singapore SMS Sender ID Registry ("SSIR"). All text messages to Singapore mobile numbers using a non registered Sender ID will be blocked and not delivered. How to register your Sender IDs All organisations that will need to register their Sender IDs will need to provide their Singapore local unique entity number (“UEN”) issued by the relevant Singapore government agencies. Step 1 - Register your account You will first need to create an account in the SSIR portal before you can log-in to register your Sender IDs. Please select BURST SMS PTE LTD for the list of Participating Aggregators.There will be a one-time setup fee of S$500 for each registered organisation Step 2 - Register your Sender IDs Once you have created your account, from within your account you can submit the Sender IDs that you would like to register. Annual fee of S$200 per Sender ID. Step 3 - Submit confirmation You will receive an email from SSIR confirming your Sender ID registration with the date your Sender ID will be whitelisted and available for use. You will need to email this to us with the following details: Proof of Sender ID Registration (This could be a PDF of the SSIR confirmation email - must have SSIR details visible)Message TemplateDescription of use caseAny call to action URL included in messageAny contact numbers included in the message Step 4 - Sender IDs tested and confirmed We will whitelist your Sender IDs and attach them to your account. You will be able to send from your registered Sender IDs for 12 months. You will be required to renew your Sender IDs annually in order to continue to use them.
